First Feature: MOUNTAIN WEDDING (1963) Ernest. T. Bass attempts to court Charlene Darling who is in love with Dud Wales. His crazy antics are foiled by Andy and Barney's scheme.

Second Feature: EARNEST T. BASS JOINS THE ARMY (1963) Ernest T. Bass comes to Mayberry to try and join the army just to impress his girlfriend. After being rejected, he wreaks havoc on the town.

Third Feature: MY FAIR ERNEST T. BASS (1964) Howard Morris, playing a mountain-bred would-be Romeo, is brought into the sheriff's home in an effort to teach him some manners. They try to pass him off as a proper Bostonian at a swank party but his hillbilly antics prevail.

Fourth Feature: THE EDUCATION OF ERNEST T. BASS (1964) Ernest T. Bass (Howard Morris) goes back to school when his girl spurns him as an illiterate. His behavior disrupts the classroom and he finds that Helen is his "Mother-figure".
